The Foundation
The Prasetiya Mulya University in Jakarta, Indonesia, grew out of the Prasetiya Mulya Business School which is recognized as a school of choice among high school students and their parents.
The business school was established in 1982 by the Prasetiya Mulya Foundation which in turn was founded two years earlier by a group of leading Indonesian business people that include the late Mr. Soedono Salim (Liem Sioe Liong), the late Mr. William Soeryadjaya, the late Mr. Susanta Lyman (Lie Siong Tay), and Mr. Eka Tjipta Widjaja (Oei Ek Tjong) and many other business people in collaboration with Indonesian intellectuals such as the late Panglaykim, Harry Tjan Silalahi and Jusuf Wanandi.
